Gaia is excited to announce the launch of its Ambassador Program, aimed at empowering local communities through Decentralized AI (DeAI). We’re looking for passionate and experienced individuals to join us in this journey. Here’s everything you need to know to get involved:
Program Overview
The Gaia Ambassador Program offers developers (“Ambassadors”) the opportunity to:
- Gain Expertise: Develop your skills in LLM architecture and contribute to the Gaia project.
- Recognition: Earn the title of Gaia Expert, a credential showcasing your expertise in LLM architecture.
- Visibility: Be featured in developer marketing and branding campaigns.
- Experience Points (XP): Accumulate XP for ongoing contributions.
- Event Participation: Take part in various developer events and workshops.
Qualifications:
- Experience in organizing two or more meetups, workshops, or events.
- Familiarity with other protocols or communities is a plus.
- Technical knowledge and a track record of community leadership or building.
Responsibilities:
- Organize 10–12 workshops, meetups, hackathons, and support the Gaia team at conferences.
- Launch nodes on Gaia.
- Create content on social media.
- Build and grow the local Gaia community.
- Represent Gaia in your region.
Bounty Projects:
Ambassadors will complete three of the four pre-defined community bounty projects:
- Run an in-person hackathon.
- Give a technical workshop.
- Host an online event.
- Host a workshop.
Each project will have a defined scope and timeline, with technical support from Gaia throughout the development process. Successful completion will earn you the title of “Gaia Expert,” recognized in marketing campaigns with benefits such as increased visibility and higher XP earning potential.

Application Details:
Applications open on July 22th and close on August 16th, 2024. The selection process includes a screening, due diligence, and 1:1 calls with the Gaia team. Ambassadors will be vetted based on their technical skills and experience.
